The Dairy is a warm, welcoming, tastefully renovated and fully equipped cottage nestling in a historical and unspoiled Scottish glen. Bigger inside than it looks, accommodation consists of; an entry porch with drying area leads to a large open plan lounge with dining and kitchen areas. A sliding French window leads to the private patio and garden. From the lounge a hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms; 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom (bath/shower, toilet and hand basin); 1 twin bedroom; 1 shower room with shower, toilet and hand basin. All accommodation is on one level and the lounge, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom are accessible to wheelchairs. An ideal base for exploring Cowal, Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne, Glencoe, some of the Islands including Islay, Jura & Iona, and, more locally, the Island of Bute via the shortest ferry crossing in the world! Although remote, the visitor can be in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow in just over an hour by car.
Swallows, woodpeckers and red squirrels visit the garden while eagles, harriers, buzzards, red deer, otters and seals inhabit the wider area. Gannets and dolphins are increasingly being spotted in the nearby Kyles of Bute. Cowal boasts numerous formal gardens and forest trails, and many activities.
